• In this virtual economy, virtual currency ($BP) is used to purchase different assets and objects, which the user requires for the tasks. The virtual currency is exportable to the real world, as real cash, and vice versa.

• BlackPearl Planet functions as a true market economy where prices are set by supply and demand. The economy is based on BlackPearl’s own currency of $BP, with an exchange rate to the US dollar of 1:10. 


Unique characteristics of the offer


• The money in BlackPearl’s virtual economy, the $BP, can be exchanged for real currency and vice versa.

• Each user has a unique and secure account in BlackPearl from which payments for goods and services can be made. The account also receives profit or payments which the user obtains.

• Transactions between users, for example buying and selling of goods, are paid via the user’s account in BlackPearl.

• If a user wants to convert their $BP to $US or Euro this is simply achieved by a request to BlackPearl International, or through use of the BlackPearl Cash Card which allows users to make withdrawals from their account from any of the million ATM machines worldwide.

A Brief Scenario of the 3D Immersive Environment

Entry to the world of BlackPearl is gained once the user has applied for an account.
When the account has been approved, the user is able to download the 3D Client Software which will allow the user machine to access the BlackPearl world.

At this juncture, the user is merely a Tourist.

Upon entering BlackPearl, the user is transported to the virtual planet, arriving at one of the many immigration zones where they are met by a representative / guide who will take them on an orientation tour and assist them with creating an Avatar, their alter ego, which is modeled entirely to their requirements regarding gender, appearance, etc.

Citizenship in BlackPearl costs a small fee. The fee is the guage of commitment. The fee has three levels.

At this point, the User becomes a Citizen

The Avatar is the Virtual Body of the citizen. Without an Avatar, there can be no In-World social interaction, adventure, or business.

Over time BlackPearl will be developed and built mainly on citizens own initiative and, together with other citizens, they have the opportunity to participate in the creation of a “new civilization”, the exploration of whole continents and the establishment of new communities.

Should a participant choose to leave the safety of the cities and towns they will have to defend themselves against hostile terrain, the vagaries of the weather and wild animals,

A participant can even prospect and claim new areas, survey and extract minerals or commence property development. 

CONCLUSION

While there are a few 3D worlds already in existence, and generating a revenue stream from a process that is largely entertainment driven, none of them address the impact of consumerism and manufacturing on this planets environment.

BlackPearl addresses this by creating the first interactive platform in the world where the Smart consumer, in conjunction with the designers and innovators who shape our lives, can truly make a difference to our steward-ship of this planet. And be entertained.

BlackPearl uses an agglomeration of compelling and exciting attractions. None of these are new.
